WASHINGTON – Someone has finally fixed an approximate taxpayer cost of between 12 million and 15 million illegal aliens residing in the U.S.
A new study by the Heritage Foundation's Robert Rector found a household headed by an individual without a high school education, including about two-thirds of illegal aliens, costs U.S. taxpayers more than $32,000 in federal, state and local benefits. That same family contributes an average of $9,000 a year in taxes, resulting in a net tax burden of $22,449 each year.
Over the course of the household's lifetime that tax burden translates to $1.1 million.

If the lower figure of 12 million illegal aliens is used for estimation purposes, the total tax burden translates to $2.2 trillion.
"Would any of us buy shares in a company that we knew would produce a loss of a million dollars a share," asks Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, in response to the study. "Cheap labor is not cheap at the cost of over a million dollars per head of household."
Rector's study, "The Fiscal Cost of Low-Skill Households to the U.S. Taxpayer," examines the economics of the 17.7 million American households made up of people without a high-school degree. Using numbers from the Census Bureau, the Congressional Research Service, the Bureau of Labor Standards and other government agencies, Rector determined what they earn, what they spend and what they receive in government services.
About half of the 17.7 million households studied are illegal aliens. About two-thirds of illegal alien households are headed by someone without a high school degree. Only 10 percent of native-born Americans fit into that category.
"Over the next ten years the total cost of low-skill households to the taxpayer (immediate benefits minus taxes paid) is likely to be at least $3.9 trillion," Rector writes. "This number would go up significantly if changes in immigration policy lead to substantial increases in the number of low-skill immigrants entering the country and receiving services."

The US is planning to attack Iran's nuclear reactors and other nuclear facilities by the end of this month, the Kuwait-based Arab Times newspaper reported Wednesday.

Citing anonymous sources in Washington, it said that various White House departments had started preparing the political speech to be delivered by the US president later this month, announcing the military attack on Iran.

The speech will provide the 'evidence' and the 'justification' for the US to resort to the military option after failing to persuade Tehran to give up its nuclear ambitions, said the report.

According to the Times, one of the justifications expected in the speech is Iran's alleged role in the killing of American soldiers in Iraq by supporting various militias with money and arms.

The US president's speech will also point to Iran's political interference in Iraq, obviously in cooperation with Syria.

The sources were quoted as saying that US will not resort to a ground attack in order to avoid human losses.

DHS has plan for new HQ in lunatic asylum

WASHINGTON, March 20 (UPI) -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is setting up its new HQ in a former lunatic asylum.
The DHS says it will consolidate most of the 60 offices it has across the Washington, D.C. region into a single new headquarters building.
The $3 billion move will begin in 2011, according to a plan prepared by the DHS, once a new building is ready in the grounds of the former mental hospital, St. Elizabeth's.
The U.S. Coast Guard will be the first element of the DHS to move into the new building in 2011, department Spokesman Larry Orluskie told United Press International.
The DHS's headquarters functions will follow in 2013, and the other components slated for centralization will move in after that.
Orluskie said that the U.S. Secret Service, the biometric system for tracking foreign visitors called U.S.-VISIT, the new Domestic Nuclear Detection Office, the Office of the Inspector General, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and the DHS Science and Technology Directorate will probably remain in their current locations.

Based on a one-year in-depth study, a researcher estimates there are about 240,000 illegal immigrant sex offenders in the United States who have had an average of four victims each.
Deborah Schurman-Kauflin of the Violent Crimes Institute in Atlanta analyzed 1,500 cases from January 1999 through April 2006 that included serial rapes, serial murders, sexual homicides and child molestation committed by illegal immigrants.

She found that while the offenders were located in 36 states, most were in states with the highest numbers of illegal immigrants. California had the most offenders, followed by Texas, Arizona, New Jersey, New York and Florida.

Schurman-Kauflin concluded that, based on a figure of 12 million illegal immigrants and the fact that more of this population is male than average, sex offenders among illegals make up a higher percentage than offenders in the general population.
She arrives at the figure of 240,000 offenders – a conservative estimate, she says – through public records showing about 2 percent of illegals apprehended are sex offenders.
"This translates to 93 sex offenders and 12 serial sexual offenders coming across U.S. borders illegally per day," she says.
She points out the 1,500 offenders in her study had a total of 5,999 victims, and each sex offender averaged four victims.

"This places the estimate for victimization numbers around 960,000 for the 88 months examined in this study," she declares.
Schurman-Kauflin breaks down the 1,500 cases reviewed this way:

525, or 35 percent, were child molestations
358, or 24 percent, were rapes
617, or 41 percent, were sexual homicides and serial murders
Of the child molestations, 47 percent of the victims were Hispanic, 36 percent Caucasian, 8 percent Asian, 6 percent African American and 3 percent other nationalities.
In 82 percent of the cases, she noted, the victims were known to their attackers.

"In those instances, the illegal immigrants typically gained access to the victims after having worked as a day laborer at or near the victims' homes," she says. "Victims ranged in age from 1 year old to 13 years old, with the average age being 6."

In her examination of the sex-related homicides, Schurman-Kauflin found the most common method was for an offender to break into a residence and ambush his victims.
Not only were victims raped, she said, but some – 6 percent – were mutilated.

This isn't about party, it isn't about Bush Bashing. It about our country. The following is not a great analogy, but it will have to do.

Suppose you went on vacation and asked your neighbor to watch your house - gave him a key.
You get a call while away and it's your neighbor describing how some burglers were seen going through your house. You rush home find your house ransacked with lots of breakage, and go next door to talk to the neighbor. He tells you that he called the police that night but it took them an hour and 1/2 to get there, even though the police station is a couple of blocks away.
You notice some objects in his living room that look like stuff you had. In fact his kids are wearing clothes you swear were in your children's closets.
You quiz him closer and ask him to describe the thieves. They are all 5'10" and have beards, and were wearing black masks, and there were 19 of them. Nobody else saw them.
You notice your neighbor has a new TV - he has often admired your set - and it is just like yours that was taken. The police don't have any record of any calls at the time the burglers were allegedly there. Your front door has no damage and they can't find out how the thieves could have got in.

Then after a while you notice little lies being told by the neighbor, about other things. He claims that he returned all the tools he borrowed from you and bought some just like them, but you can't find yours.
Are you suspicious yet?
You just check the serial numbers of the TV to match against your paper records and find they have been filed off.
Is it worth investigating? Are you a conspiracy theorist if you want to know more about what went on while you were away? Is it unreasonable to ask for explanations of the false statements?
If your neighbor won't look you in the eye, and won't talk to you without his lawyer (or his vice president), is that anything to worry about? If you notice the local police chief wearing a suit just like you used to have, right down to the loose inside button, are you paranoid? The circumstances above would produce confusion and doubts in the best of us. Who can you trust?

What if the cops are just part of a crime ring? Then imagine that it isn’t your neighborhood, but it’s your country. A place you thought you knew and in which you felt safe.
Your countrymen have been murdered and the more you delve into it the more it looks as though they were murdered by our government, who used it as an excuse to murder other people thousands of miles away.
If you ridicule others who have sincere doubts and who know factual information that directly contradicts the official report and who want explanations from those who hold the keys to our government, and have motive, means, and opportunity to pull off a 9/11, but you are too lazy or fearful, or ... to check into the facts yourself, what does that make you?

David Ray Griffin provides a context for the unanswered or badly answered questions that should nag at anyone who pretends to love this country.
Are you afraid that you will learn the truth and you can't handle it? I think I know some people in that category.
Are you afraid you will draw the attention of thugs who could do the things that were done that day? Do you believe your fellow man is just not capable of that degree of evil?
I would not have believed that my country would ever become a torture state and have the Congress arguing with the executive about it. I thought that Habaes Corpus was fundamental to our civil rights, and now I find that it is not. I thought my country stood for honorable dealings with other nations, then watch a jingoistic cheerleading orgy on TV, composed like Oscar night, with the centerpiece a campaign of "Shock and Awe" as our armed forces invade a practically defenseless nation, without provocation, while considerable doubt of the validity of the reasons for that invasion exists.

Our fearless leader clings to lies until they are untenable and then disowns them as though he never spoke them. We, who can pillory a president of one party for lying about sex cannot call to account a repeated and habitual liar of another who sends more than 3100 of our soldiers to their deaths - for what? Some point at the fact that the “Scientific Community” is largely silent.
There apparently is no "scientific community".
We have lots of scientists who work in government-funded research institutes and who work for universities funded by government money - mostly defense related. Do a little research project and see how well whistle-blowers have prospered since the Boy King ascended the throne.
Look at how Professor Stephen Jones' career went after he challenged openly the collapse of the WTC buildings in peer-reviewed articles. Listen to his lecture on Google video, then read the accounts of how Brigham Young University ran for cover by putting him on leave and kowtowing to those who questioned his qualifications.
Look up Sibel Edmonds, check into John M. Cole. Then, look at how Coleen Rowley has made out after putting it all on the line for her country.
Look up Mike Ruppert, a gutsy cop who never blinked as he exposed CIA crime has fled the country after having the type of tactics that might make Tony Soprano ashamed used against him and his "From the Wilderness website.

Then look at the fortunes of David Frasca and Spike Bowman two FBI supervisors who stonewalled the intelligence that might have exposed the 9/11 plotters, who were then promoted and rewarded.
Compare and contrast the fortunes of those who come out with factual information unfavorable to the administration with those who play ball and make the right noises on the Sunday morning shows.
Do a little research. Google is a wonderful tool.

What does it all add up to?
The Commission was, as was the Warren Commission before it, a dog and pony show for the amusement of the flock who might have accidently looked up from American Idol for a moment and caught a glimpse of it, but then saw that the other sheeple were quietly grazing.
Then they went back to munching while the wolves, who cannot eat the entire flock at once, circle and stalk their next victim.

Texas Dems now love him for his "principled anti-war stance," while pro-abortion voters don’t need to worry about the obstetrician/gynecologist’s strong pro-life stance — he knows the federal government has noright to get involved in such stuff. And as California just proved, states can figure out universal health care and global-warming rules while the federal government can’t do anything.

Dobson's Focus on the Family provided WND with a transcript of Gingrich's remarks, which will be broadcast tomorrow on the group's daily program as the second of a two-part segment.

Dobson asked Gingrich about his personal life at the end of a discussion about the former congressman's book, "Rediscovering God in America."
Gingrich said the subject of his two divorces, including an affair that took place as he led impeachment proceedings against President Clinton, is a "very painful topic and I confess that to you directly."

NEW YORK (AP) -- Rosie O'Donnell says she began being treated for depression after the Columbine school shootings and hangs upside down for up to a half-hour a day to improve her mental state.
When gunmen killed 13 people at Columbine High School in Colorado in O'Donnell said she felt as if it had happened to her children.

"I couldn't stop crying," she said on an episode taped for ABC's "The View" and due to air Friday. "I stayed in my room. The lights were off. I couldn't get out of bed and that's when I started taking medication."
Anyone concerned about the stigma of taking medication for depression should know that "it saved my life," she said.
When she began taking antidepressants, O'Donnell, 44, said she began yoga and "inversion therapy," where she hangs upside down by a swing for 15 to 30 minutes a day. She demonstrates it on "The View."

O'Donnell said she also has seasonal affective disorder, often called SAD, the wintertime blues that can strike when the days grow short. SAD is characterized by recurrent major depressive episodes during the fall and winter.
She's "instantly happy" on sunny days but feels as if she's being tortured when it's cloudy. She feels the most important thing to do when you're feeling depressed is to get up and move.

The following is taken from an interview by Rick Martin, on April 15, 2000 with author Eric Jon Phelps of the book Vatican Assassins. It appears King George has indeed fulfilled his role as stooge.

Martin: How do you see that unfolding?
Phelps: What’s that?
Martin: The destruction of the Western Empire.
Phelps: As far as the actions of overthrowing the government and having a tyranny, is that what you mean?
Martin: Right. What do you see life like here in the next 5 or 10 years?
Phelps: It’s hard to put a date on it; it’s hard to put a year on it. But I would say it’s going to continually become more and more a matter of "central power" in Washington. You’re going to have less and less power in the Congress. And one of these days, the Congress is going to be closed. And all we’re going to have is a Commander-in-Chief. We’re going to have some form of absolutism, with the President becoming now a dictator.
Martin: Do you think George Bush, Jr. will be that person?
Phelps: He could be. I won’t say he will be, but he could be. It will be someone like him—with complete allegiance to Rome, just like his father. His grandfather helped set up the CFR. His uncle is a Knight of Malta. It will be someone like him.
And he WILL be the next President. They’ve already chosen him in the College of Cardinals. Everything else is a show. Jesuit-trained Buchanan is a show. Roman Catholic McCain is a show. The Black Roman Catholic Keyes is a show, although he tickles me. He advocates abolition of the 14th Amendment. If that happens, what are the Black people going to do? They’re not citizens; they have no rights! Dred Scott comes into play. He’s a fake.
So, what I see is more and more centralization of power in the hands of the President. The Supreme Court is just a rubber stamp. He becomes the king. The courts are nothing more than the courts of the king’s bench. The Federal Reserve Bank will remain in power. Everything will be monitored and controlled by Washington, unless some of God’s men start trusting God and get in control of the state and cause it to secede. The only answer to this is state secession, leaving this Union—it’s not a Union, it’s an Empire—leaving the Empire that began in 1868, assuming national sovereignty, once again. And the first state that would do this, I’m moving there. Because I don’t want to see the FBI anymore. I don’t want to see the CIA. I don’t want to see any of these national bureaucracies anymore.
Martin: Montana seems close. Arizona seems close.
Phelps: Well, when they do it, I’ll move there. But that’s what would happen if things continue as they are. We’ll have race war. We’re going to have the Moslems fighting the Klu Klux Klan. Whites siding with the Whites; the Blacks siding with the Blacks. It’s going to be a blood-bath everywhere. And that will justify Martial Law, and the military, and the whole nine yards, and also foreign occupation; we’re going to have that too. And you know how foreigners are in a foreign country. They rape the women. They couldn’t care less about the social strata of the country. They have no mercy on the people. They have a foreign tongue. And that’s what they’ll do. And that’s all the more reason for a state to secede.
