WASHINGTON – Someone has finally fixed an approximate taxpayer cost of between 12 million and 15 million illegal aliens residing in the U.S.
A new study by the Heritage Foundation's Robert Rector found a household headed by an individual without a high school education, including about two-thirds of illegal aliens, costs U.S. taxpayers more than $32,000 in federal, state and local benefits. That same family contributes an average of $9,000 a year in taxes, resulting in a net tax burden of $22,449 each year.
Over the course of the household's lifetime that tax burden translates to $1.1 million.

If the lower figure of 12 million illegal aliens is used for estimation purposes, the total tax burden translates to $2.2 trillion.
"Would any of us buy shares in a company that we knew would produce a loss of a million dollars a share," asks Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, in response to the study. "Cheap labor is not cheap at the cost of over a million dollars per head of household."
Rector's study, "The Fiscal Cost of Low-Skill Households to the U.S. Taxpayer," examines the economics of the 17.7 million American households made up of people without a high-school degree. Using numbers from the Census Bureau, the Congressional Research Service, the Bureau of Labor Standards and other government agencies, Rector determined what they earn, what they spend and what they receive in government services.
About half of the 17.7 million households studied are illegal aliens. About two-thirds of illegal alien households are headed by someone without a high school degree. Only 10 percent of native-born Americans fit into that category.
"Over the next ten years the total cost of low-skill households to the taxpayer (immediate benefits minus taxes paid) is likely to be at least $3.9 trillion," Rector writes. "This number would go up significantly if changes in immigration policy lead to substantial increases in the number of low-skill immigrants entering the country and receiving services."

The US is planning to attack Iran's nuclear reactors and other nuclear facilities by the end of this month, the Kuwait-based Arab Times newspaper reported Wednesday.

Citing anonymous sources in Washington, it said that various White House departments had started preparing the political speech to be delivered by the US president later this month, announcing the military attack on Iran.

The speech will provide the 'evidence' and the 'justification' for the US to resort to the military option after failing to persuade Tehran to give up its nuclear ambitions, said the report.

According to the Times, one of the justifications expected in the speech is Iran's alleged role in the killing of American soldiers in Iraq by supporting various militias with money and arms.

The US president's speech will also point to Iran's political interference in Iraq, obviously in cooperation with Syria.

The sources were quoted as saying that US will not resort to a ground attack in order to avoid human losses.

DHS has plan for new HQ in lunatic asylum

WASHINGTON, March 20 (UPI) -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is setting up its new HQ in a former lunatic asylum.
The DHS says it will consolidate most of the 60 offices it has across the Washington, D.C. region into a single new headquarters building.
The $3 billion move will begin in 2011, according to a plan prepared by the DHS, once a new building is ready in the grounds of the former mental hospital, St. Elizabeth's.
The U.S. Coast Guard will be the first element of the DHS to move into the new building in 2011, department Spokesman Larry Orluskie told United Press International.
The DHS's headquarters functions will follow in 2013, and the other components slated for centralization will move in after that.
Orluskie said that the U.S. Secret Service, the biometric system for tracking foreign visitors called U.S.-VISIT, the new Domestic Nuclear Detection Office, the Office of the Inspector General, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and the DHS Science and Technology Directorate will probably remain in their current locations.

Based on a one-year in-depth study, a researcher estimates there are about 240,000 illegal immigrant sex offenders in the United States who have had an average of four victims each.
Deborah Schurman-Kauflin of the Violent Crimes Institute in Atlanta analyzed 1,500 cases from January 1999 through April 2006 that included serial rapes, serial murders, sexual homicides and child molestation committed by illegal immigrants.

She found that while the offenders were located in 36 states, most were in states with the highest numbers of illegal immigrants. California had the most offenders, followed by Texas, Arizona, New Jersey, New York and Florida.

Schurman-Kauflin concluded that, based on a figure of 12 million illegal immigrants and the fact that more of this population is male than average, sex offenders among illegals make up a higher percentage than offenders in the general population.
She arrives at the figure of 240,000 offenders – a conservative estimate, she says – through public records showing about 2 percent of illegals apprehended are sex offenders.
"This translates to 93 sex offenders and 12 serial sexual offenders coming across U.S. borders illegally per day," she says.
She points out the 1,500 offenders in her study had a total of 5,999 victims, and each sex offender averaged four victims.

"This places the estimate for victimization numbers around 960,000 for the 88 months examined in this study," she declares.
Schurman-Kauflin breaks down the 1,500 cases reviewed this way:

525, or 35 percent, were child molestations
358, or 24 percent, were rapes
617, or 41 percent, were sexual homicides and serial murders
Of the child molestations, 47 percent of the victims were Hispanic, 36 percent Caucasian, 8 percent Asian, 6 percent African American and 3 percent other nationalities.
In 82 percent of the cases, she noted, the victims were known to their attackers.

"In those instances, the illegal immigrants typically gained access to the victims after having worked as a day laborer at or near the victims' homes," she says. "Victims ranged in age from 1 year old to 13 years old, with the average age being 6."

In her examination of the sex-related homicides, Schurman-Kauflin found the most common method was for an offender to break into a residence and ambush his victims.
Not only were victims raped, she said, but some – 6 percent – were mutilated.

This isn't about party, it isn't about Bush Bashing. It about our country. The following is not a great analogy, but it will have to do.

Suppose you went on vacation and asked your neighbor to watch your house - gave him a key.
You get a call while away and it's your neighbor describing how some burglers were seen going through your house. You rush home find your house ransacked with lots of breakage, and go next door to talk to the neighbor. He tells you that he called the police that night but it took them an hour and 1/2 to get there, even though the police station is a couple of blocks away.
You notice some objects in his living room that look like stuff you had. In fact his kids are wearing clothes you swear were in your children's closets.
You quiz him closer and ask him to describe the thieves. They are all 5'10" and have beards, and were wearing black masks, and there were 19 of them. Nobody else saw them.
You notice your neighbor has a new TV - he has often admired your set - and it is just like yours that was taken. The police don't have any record of any calls at the time the burglers were allegedly there. Your front door has no damage and they can't find out how the thieves could have got in.

Then after a while you notice little lies being told by the neighbor, about other things. He claims that he returned all the tools he borrowed from you and bought some just like them, but you can't find yours.
Are you suspicious yet?
You just check the serial numbers of the TV to match against your paper records and find they have been filed off.
Is it worth investigating? Are you a conspiracy theorist if you want to know more about what went on while you were away? Is it unreasonable to ask for explanations of the false statements?
If your neighbor won't look you in the eye, and won't talk to you without his lawyer (or his vice president), is that anything to worry about? If you notice the local police chief wearing a suit just like you used to have, right down to the loose inside button, are you paranoid? The circumstances above would produce confusion and doubts in the best of us. Who can you trust?

What if the cops are just part of a crime ring? Then imagine that it isn’t your neighborhood, but it’s your country. A place you thought you knew and in which you felt safe.
Your countrymen have been murdered and the more you delve into it the more it looks as though they were murdered by our government, who used it as an excuse to murder other people thousands of miles away.
If you ridicule others who have sincere doubts and who know factual information that directly contradicts the official report and who want explanations from those who hold the keys to our government, and have motive, means, and opportunity to pull off a 9/11, but you are too lazy or fearful, or ... to check into the facts yourself, what does that make you?

David Ray Griffin provides a context for the unanswered or badly answered questions that should nag at anyone who pretends to love this country.
Are you afraid that you will learn the truth and you can't handle it? I think I know some people in that category.
Are you afraid you will draw the attention of thugs who could do the things that were done that day? Do you believe your fellow man is just not capable of that degree of evil?
I would not have believed that my country would ever become a torture state and have the Congress arguing with the executive about it. I thought that Habaes Corpus was fundamental to our civil rights, and now I find that it is not. I thought my country stood for honorable dealings with other nations, then watch a jingoistic cheerleading orgy on TV, composed like Oscar night, with the centerpiece a campaign of "Shock and Awe" as our armed forces invade a practically defenseless nation, without provocation, while considerable doubt of the validity of the reasons for that invasion exists.

Our fearless leader clings to lies until they are untenable and then disowns them as though he never spoke them. We, who can pillory a president of one party for lying about sex cannot call to account a repeated and habitual liar of another who sends more than 3100 of our soldiers to their deaths - for what? Some point at the fact that the “Scientific Community” is largely silent.
There apparently is no "scientific community".
We have lots of scientists who work in government-funded research institutes and who work for universities funded by government money - mostly defense related. Do a little research project and see how well whistle-blowers have prospered since the Boy King ascended the throne.
Look at how Professor Stephen Jones' career went after he challenged openly the collapse of the WTC buildings in peer-reviewed articles. Listen to his lecture on Google video, then read the accounts of how Brigham Young University ran for cover by putting him on leave and kowtowing to those who questioned his qualifications.
Look up Sibel Edmonds, check into John M. Cole. Then, look at how Coleen Rowley has made out after putting it all on the line for her country.
Look up Mike Ruppert, a gutsy cop who never blinked as he exposed CIA crime has fled the country after having the type of tactics that might make Tony Soprano ashamed used against him and his "From the Wilderness website.

Then look at the fortunes of David Frasca and Spike Bowman two FBI supervisors who stonewalled the intelligence that might have exposed the 9/11 plotters, who were then promoted and rewarded.
Compare and contrast the fortunes of those who come out with factual information unfavorable to the administration with those who play ball and make the right noises on the Sunday morning shows.
Do a little research. Google is a wonderful tool.

What does it all add up to?
The Commission was, as was the Warren Commission before it, a dog and pony show for the amusement of the flock who might have accidently looked up from American Idol for a moment and caught a glimpse of it, but then saw that the other sheeple were quietly grazing.
Then they went back to munching while the wolves, who cannot eat the entire flock at once, circle and stalk their next victim.

Texas Dems now love him for his "principled anti-war stance," while pro-abortion voters don’t need to worry about the obstetrician/gynecologist’s strong pro-life stance — he knows the federal government has noright to get involved in such stuff. And as California just proved, states can figure out universal health care and global-warming rules while the federal government can’t do anything.

Dobson's Focus on the Family provided WND with a transcript of Gingrich's remarks, which will be broadcast tomorrow on the group's daily program as the second of a two-part segment.

Dobson asked Gingrich about his personal life at the end of a discussion about the former congressman's book, "Rediscovering God in America."
Gingrich said the subject of his two divorces, including an affair that took place as he led impeachment proceedings against President Clinton, is a "very painful topic and I confess that to you directly."

NEW YORK (AP) -- Rosie O'Donnell says she began being treated for depression after the Columbine school shootings and hangs upside down for up to a half-hour a day to improve her mental state.
When gunmen killed 13 people at Columbine High School in Colorado in O'Donnell said she felt as if it had happened to her children.

"I couldn't stop crying," she said on an episode taped for ABC's "The View" and due to air Friday. "I stayed in my room. The lights were off. I couldn't get out of bed and that's when I started taking medication."
Anyone concerned about the stigma of taking medication for depression should know that "it saved my life," she said.
When she began taking antidepressants, O'Donnell, 44, said she began yoga and "inversion therapy," where she hangs upside down by a swing for 15 to 30 minutes a day. She demonstrates it on "The View."

O'Donnell said she also has seasonal affective disorder, often called SAD, the wintertime blues that can strike when the days grow short. SAD is characterized by recurrent major depressive episodes during the fall and winter.
She's "instantly happy" on sunny days but feels as if she's being tortured when it's cloudy. She feels the most important thing to do when you're feeling depressed is to get up and move.

And the first state that would do this, I’m moving there. Because I don’t want to see the FBI anymore. I don’t want to see the CIA. I don’t want to see any of these national bureaucracies anymore.
Martin: Montana seems close. Arizona seems close.
Phelps: Well, when they do it, I’ll move there. But that’s what would happen if things continue as they are. We’ll have race war. We’re going to have the Moslems fighting the Klu Klux Klan. Whites siding with the Whites; the Blacks siding with the Blacks. It’s going to be a blood-bath everywhere. And that will justify Martial Law, and the military, and the whole nine yards, and also foreign occupation; we’re going to have that too. And you know how foreigners are in a foreign country. Will Ann Coulter never learn?
There are some things you just can't say, not even in jest. And at the top of that list right now is anything derogatory about the "gay" lifestyle or, worse yet, anything that is considered a slur against homosexuals, a protected class of people with special rights which entitle them to live free from all offense.

Ann surely should have known this. After all, hasn't she seen any of the countless films or TV shows produced by Hollywood in recent years which promote homosexuality as a perfectly normal and acceptable alternative lifestyle? Indeed, the homosexuals in virtually every one of these films and TV shows are smarter, funnier, hipper and more humane than the heterosexual characters.

Hasn't she seen or read any of the endless media stories promoting homosexuality in the same glowing manner, with never a critical word to be uttered? Doesn't she know that our schools are teaching children that homosexuality is a completely legitimate practice, and one we must all embrace and support as such whether we engage in it or not?

Yet despite all of this, Ann had the unmitigated gall to get up before an overflow crowd at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Friday, while the cameras were still rolling, and say this: "I was going to have a few comments on the other Democratic presidential candidate

John Edwards, but it turns out you have to go into rehab if you use the word 'faggot,' so I – so kind of an impasse, can't really talk about Edwards."

The reaction was swift and severe. DNC Chairman Howard Dean called upon Republican leaders to denounce Coulter, and they were quick to comply – starting with the "Big 3" in the Republican presidential race. A spokesman for Mitt Romney called Coulter's use of the F-word "an offensive remark," adding that Romney believes "all people should be treated with dignity and respect." Rudy Giuliani said her comments were "completely inappropriate," while a spokesman for John McCain tried to one-up Rudy by saying they were "wildly inappropriate."

What was missing from all the hysteria that followed Ann's CPAC appearance was any discussion of the larger cultural context in which she made her remarks regarding Edwards. As with her attack upon those four politically-motivated 9/11 widows (the "Witches of East Brunswick"), the media once more ignored the salient argument she was making to focus instead on the sensational aspect of the language she used. Then Democratic and Republican legislators, liberal and conservative bloggers summarily followed suit. All anyone wanted to talk about was the anti-"gay" epithet.

Well, there is a larger point here that most seem to have missed, and it centers on the fact that we are well on our way in this country to criminalizing all speech and behavior that can in any way be interpreted by homosexual activists as being offensive to them or critical of their chosen "lifestyle."

To that end, when "Grey's Anatomy" star Isaiah Washington called his "gay" co-star T.R. Knight a "faggot" last year, he was so scorned and reviled for it that he not only apologized profusely but then checked himself into rehab. It was probably the only way to save his career. Then retired NBA star Tim Hardaway told a radio interviewer last month: "I hate gay people ... I don't like it [homosexuality]. It shouldn't be in the world or in the United States." He, too, was forced to repent in sackcloth and ashes after he was banned from NBA All-Star Game activities, lost a national endorsement deal and was subjected to relentless nationwide criticism.

Liberals, of course, are quite fond of lecturing us that the First Amendment is designed to protect speech that some people will find offensive – that is, when they're defending flag-burning or child pornography. But somehow that principle never seems to apply when it comes to criticizing homosexuality or those who practice it, whether such criticism is based upon religious convictions, personal conscience or anything else. As Miami Heat coach Pat Riley said of his former player Hardaway's comments, such opinions simply "cannot be tolerated."

This applies not only to what Hardaway said about ''gay'' people, but what he said about homosexuality as well. However, while I'm sure most of us who oppose the "gay" agenda would agree with Romney that all people should be treated respectfully, we reserve the right to believe, teach and proclaim publicly that homosexuality itself is sinful, unnatural and perverted. We reserve the right to quote from Romans 1 and other portions of God's Word which teach just that. We reserve the right to point out that Rom. 1:27, 32 warns that homosexual behavior will cause disease within the bodies of those who practice it leading to premature death. And we reserve the right to warn those who are engaged in this behavior or being tempted to practice it that homosexuality is therefore, according to God's eternal declaration, not so much a "lifestyle" as it is a deathstyle.

At least for now. Our ruling liberal elites have no intention whatsoever of allowing us to continue enjoying these rights, not without serious societal recriminations for now and, if they get their way, criminal penalties in due time. That's why Democrats have been working so assiduously for so many years to pass hate crime bills which would in effect criminalize speech offensive to homosexuals. And now that they're in the majority, Democrats are redoubling those efforts.

Interestingly, the same liberal elites who are calling for the public condemnation of Ann Coulter have been largely silent about John Edwards' anti-Christian bloggers. They have not demanded that those bloggers be made national examples of, nor have they forced them to check into rehab. In fact, many media outlets never even covered the story. That should tell you all you need to know about the raging firestorm that's erupting over Coulter's use of the F-word.

So should we go around callously calling people faggots? No, of course not.
But, at the same time, should we bow down before the liberal establishment and worship at the feet of the "gay" agenda they're promoting as some sort of sacrosanct ideal?

Democratic Party activists or Republican presidential candidates come forward to condemn Ann Coulter.

The federal government has recommended a seven-year prison term for Gilmer Hernandez, a Texas deputy sheriff who drew grass-roots support after he was convicted for violating the civil rights of a fleeing illegal alien, WND has learned.
In a case prosecuted by U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton in El Paso, who also led the high-profile prosecution of former Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean, Hernandez was charged after stopping a van full of illegals for running a stop sign April 14, 2005, in Rocksprings, Texas.
The driver attempted to run over Hernandez, prompting the officer to fire his weapon at the rear tires. A bullet fragment hit a Mexican national, Marciela Rodriguez Garcia, in the mouth, cutting her lip and breaking two teeth.
Hernandez's boss, Deputy Don Lettsinger, told WND he considers the sentencing guidelines severe, especially since he believes "Deputy Hernandez should never have been indicted for this incident in the first place."

ACLU exec busted for child porn

Former Virginia chapter president accused of downloading graphic assault videos

This is the same American Civil Liberties Union Goober, who once argued that Internet filters in libraries that limited children's access to pornography would interfere with their ability to learn and communicate.

Charles Rust-Tierney, 51, of Arlington, Va., who has been held in custody in the case since his arrest. Rusty admitted to authorities that he had downloaded videos and images from child pornography websites onto CD-ROMS, which reportedly depicted graphic forcible assaults on young girls.

Rust-Tierney, who served as president of the Virginia ACLU chapter for several years, was the lawyer who argued against Internet filters in libraries in the early 2000s when the ACLU was opposing the Children's Internet Protection Act.

The explicitness of the offending videos is evidenced by the reports that in one of the scenes a prepubescent girl is "seen and heard crying" and another is described as "bound by rope."

It is well known that the ACLU defends the most abhorrent and repulsive people, ideas and policies. Here is another one of their own who disgraces himself and the ACLU...............well done Rusty!

SAMOSET - Camouflaged sheriff's office SWAT Team members swarmed the home of the alleged kidnapper of 13-year-old Clay Moore just before daybreak this morning.
The suspect, however, was still on the loose.
Manatee County Sheriff's Office investigators did find a truck they believe was used during the boy's abduction Friday.
After dozens of interviews with East Manatee farmworkers and other witnesses, detectives Saturday afternoon began a more than 12-hour stakeout outside the home of 22-year-old Vicente Ignacio Beltran-Moreno.
"This man abducted Clay Moore, we are sure of it," said Sheriff Charlie Wells.
Wells said investigators found a ransom note.
"This was an absolute kidnapping for ransom," Wells said. "This person wanted money in exchange for Clay Moore."
Beltran-Moreno lives with his girlfriend at the house, which is in the 3700 block of 17th Street Court East. Neither was spotted during the stakeout, officials said.
The couple was not home when authorities - armed with an arrest warrant for Beltran-Moreno and a search warrant for the truck, located in the house's attached garage - arrived at 5:15 a.m. in a caravan of vehicles while the neighborhood slept.
In the house's garage, officers found a late model, red extended cab pick-up truck - which matches the description of the vehicle used by the kidnapper.
Authorities pulled the truck from the home shortly before 8 a.m., seeking to match evidence described by the victim.
Meanwhile, detectives were working to secure a search warrant for the rest of the one-story stucco house, located on a corner lot in the Hill Park subdivision across the street from the Bealls distribution center.
Wells said obtaining the warrants took longer than expected due to the suspected kidnapper's multiple aliases. Beltran-Moreno is an undocumented immigrant who at one time was deported from the United States.
Clay was abducted Friday just before 9 a.m. while he waiting for his school bus with 15 other students. The Manatee School of the Arts student was forced at gunpoint into the truck from the stop at the Kingsfield Lakes subdivision in Parrish.
Clay was waiting with about 15 other students when a man pointed a gun and forced him into an older model red pick-up truck.
The abductor drove Clay for about 20 miles to Faulkner Farms off of State Road 64 in Myakka City. He led the boy into a heavily wooded area, where he bound the boy to trees using duct tape and gagged him with one of his own socks.
